::SCHOOL:: school is just around the corner. in fact, its in 2 days.  am i ready you might ask... of course not.. am i ever ready? but for some reason, i'm looking forward to it.  i think its because i'm kinda tired of working full time hours and i can't wait to see my friends again.  i know after the first week (which only have 3 school days since school starts on wednesday), i would want it to end.  i remember back in elementary up to high school, back to school shopping was such a big deal to me and most kids at that age.  i guess i kinda miss that, going to the mall with my parents, trying on different outfits and waiting in line patiently.  i miss those times when i would go shopping with my parents.  i guess as i got older, i don't spend enough time with them.  anyway, i think i've wasted a lot of money on clothes from the "back-2-school" shopping tradition.  i remember going through my closet a few years back, finding clothes that i've never worn before but "needed" to buy them back then.  well, not only was buying clothes a big thing for me, but buying school accessories was just as big.  i gotta make sure i had new color pencils, markers, pens, pencils, etc.  i'm sure i wasn't the only one.  but now, i don't buy books until after the first day of school.  i'm such a last minute person, as well as lazy.  Things sure have changed since elementary school. 

::ORLANDO::  there's so much stuff (like in details) i would like to mention on here but i can't since i'm at work and coz i'm lazy.  so i guess i'll just try to summarize what happened each day.
Day 1 (09/05): i got to orlando at around 9:45 ish and met up with my bf, hieu at the airport.  after getting my luggage, we went to our hotel (which my brother and his gf also stayed at) in kissimmee to meet up with my brother and his gf to drop off our stuff in their room since our room wasn't ready yet.  after that, we went to the first park (parks are not in specific order but in OUR order due to the shortage of time, as you will see later on, we went to two parks a day.) at Disney World, Animal Kingdom.  There, we met up with kay and her cousin to get our tickets.  we stayed there for about 3 - 4 hours (within these 3 - 4 hrs, we went to most of the rides, walked and ate smoked turkey leg.  omg, let me tell you, if you haven't tried it before... its a MUST! its sooo good! its big and cheap.  its so big that my bro and his gf shared and hieu and i shared.  its only $5.50. )and den headed to the second park, Magic Kingdom.  we stayed there until they closed.  we watched the parade and waited until 10pm to watch the fireworks.  the fireworks were soooo pretty which ended our night.  we (especially hieu and i since he had to drive 5 hrs and i only had like 1/2 hr of sleep due to the red eye flight) were extremely exhausted.
Day 2 (09/06): we all woke up at around 9, got ready and went to eat breakfast at a buffet near our hotel. after that, we went to the third park, MGM to meet up with kay's cousin to give us our tickets.  again, we stayed there for about 3 - 4 hours and headed to the last park, Epcot.  at Epcot, we walked around for like more than an hour looking for turkey leg coz me and niki (bro's gf) were craving for it! after the parks, we went back to our hotel, changed and got ready for club.  we stopped by another buffet before we went clubbing.  it was a chinese one. lol.. so we headed to club paris afterwards (FYI: club paris is owned by Paris Hilton and this other dude. ) when we got there, it seemed kinda dead.  so we went up to the bouncer and asked him if anything was going down.  apparently, that night was the first night they started opening on tuesday nights and they didn't have enough time to make it to radio stations to let the words get out.  we would be the only ones there.  the bouncer gave us a tour around the whole club, letting us know about the club, how much they spent on just the lights (1 mil. just on lights).  u know.. all that good stuff.  we ended up not stayin because it was too dead for us.  it was only $10 to get in and the drinks were all you can drink.  sweet deal, i know. oh well.  that pretty much ended our night.
Day 3 (09/07): we woke up at around 10, got ready and headed to Universal Studios.  we met up with kay and had lunch.  first, we went to Islands of Adventure (IOA), we stayed there for around 3 - 4 hours also? we went on most of the fun rides.  i got soakin wet from this one ride called Popeye & Bluto's bilge-rat barges, hieu got me a spongebob towel after it.  so after IOA, we went to Universal Studios.  just like other parks, we went on the fun rides.  after that, we went to the NBA restaurant for dinner.  it wasn't all that great, especially the waitress.  after dinner, we departed from kay.  the 4 of us went back to our hotel and made an attempt to get ready for club. but we were too exhausted from 2 parks a day for 3 days straight.  so we just stayed at our hotel. 
Day 4 (09/08): my bro and niki's last day in orlando, and drove down to miami.  we woke up at around 9, got ready and hieu and i went to my bro's room.  they were just finishing up packing when we got there.  we went to breakfast and one of the outlets before we departed.  they left the outlet at around 3:30 and headed down, hieu and i just stayed for another 2-3 hours.  after that, we went to pointe orlando, kinda like a shoppin place with restaurants and a theater and 2 clubs? anyway, walked around there, watched transporter 2 (it was alright, not that bad) and went to TGIF for dinner.  after dinner, we just went back to our room and chilled.  and that ended our night.
Day 5 (09/09): we woke up a lil later than usual, got ready, went to mcdonalds for lunch. and went around looking for a nursery so hieu can get some plants for his family friends.  we didn't have any luck so we just ended up walkin around the mall at millenia and this lil outlet by it.  after that, we went back to our room and took a lil nap.  after the energy boosting nap, we got ready and went back to pointe orlando and ate at dan marino's restaurant.  it was yummy but i couldn't finish it.  we went up stairs to go check out the two clubs, metropolis and matrix.  it was pretty dead too. so we ended up goin to club paris again... oh we pre-funked in the parking lot of pointe orlando.  i dont really remember what we drank.  just a whole bunch of hard A. anyway, club paris is pretty nice, except we didn't like the music much.  we saw this celebrity but i dont exactly know who he is but he looks familar. and that ended our night.
Day 6 (09/10) last day: after we got ready, we went to a salon.  hieu got his hair cut while i get a spa pedicure.  we then went next door to this japanese restaurant and had lunch.  it was pretty much a relaxing day.  we just went to another mall, watched a movie and hieu dropped me off at the hotel.  i packed and cleaned up the place a bit while he went to get dinner to go.  he came back with a bouquet of pink roses, a lil candle, wine and sushi.  he got SUSHi!!! it was very sweet of him.  it was kinda like a lil candle light dinner.  hehe.. the wine was pretty good.. everything was close to perfect.  after dinner, we just chilled a bit and waited for kay to call.  kay finally called, we got ready and we went to club paris again.  we were gonna go to Roxy? but we ended up goin to club paris coz kay got us VIPs... something like that.  so we just danced and danced and danced.  and ended our last night.
Day 7 (09/11): woke up early to finish off packin our stuff and headed to the airport.  kay met up with us after i checked in.  had breakfast at the airport and bid our goodbyes and i headed back to seattle.... and den... LAS VEGAS, HERE i COME!

i typed wayyyy too much... considering that i'm at work.. so i'm gonna save my vegas and lake tahoe trip for next time... and i'm gonna end it with a few pics.
